Sigil Duel · Innoverse LLC · Last updated October 22, 2026
Sigil Duel is a card game you can play without an account. This page explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. In short: we collect as little as we can, we never sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
If you play as a guest
Your progress (cards, decks, levels, ranks, quests and settings) is saved only on your device. We don't receive it. Uninstalling the app or clearing the browser's site data deletes it.
If you sign in to save your progress
Signing in is optional. It keeps your progress safe and lets you play on more than one device. When you sign in with Google, Apple or an email link, we receive and store:
- Your email address and an account ID from the sign-in service. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only see the private relay address Apple gives us.
- Your game save: the same progress described above, including the profile name you choose.
We use these only to sign you in and keep your progress in sync. We don't get your password or anything else from your Google or Apple account.
Anonymous usage data
To balance cards and fix problems, the game sends anonymous usage data: which screens are opened, how matches end (the result, the realms won and the cards in the deck), level-ups, new looks, and whether a purchase finished. It is tied to a random ID made on your device, not to your name, email or account, and we don't keep IP addresses. You can turn it off any time in Settings › Usage data.
Sharing your profile
If you tap Share profile, the game makes a link containing your profile name, icon, level, rank, title and showcase cards. The information travels inside the link itself; we don't store it. Anyone you send the link to can see that profile.
Purchases
Any purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details; we only learn what you bought, so the game can unlock it.
Services we use
- Supabase stores accounts and cloud saves and sends sign-in emails.
- Vercel hosts the web version of the game.
- PostHog receives the anonymous usage data described above.
- Google Fonts supplies some of the game's lettering.
Like any web service, these keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and device type) for security and to keep the service running. They process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
What we don't do
- No advertising and no ad tracking.
- No selling or renting of your information.
- No tracking across other apps or websites.
- No access to your contacts, photos, location, camera or microphone.
Deleting your account
In the game, open Settings › Account › Delete account. Your account and its cloud save are deleted right away and can't be recovered. The game keeps working on that device as a guest. You can also ask us to delete it by email (below).
How long we keep information
We keep your account and cloud save until you delete your account. If an account is inactive for 3 years, we may delete it.
Children
Sigil Duel is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, download or delete your information, and to object to how it's used. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll also tell you in the game.
